For our Customer in Kongsberg, we are looking for a Warehouse/Shipment Technician for a long term assignement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all supplied equipment is shipped domestically and internationally according to company standards and relevant regulations.
  • Accurately receive, process, and deliver shipment orders following company policies and national/international authority requirements.
  • Adhere to Quality, HMS, and GBPMS standards.
  • Coordinate the picking and packing of equipment with the Warehouse Picking Team and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure Dangerous Goods are packed and documented correctly for safe transportation.
  • Notify Transporter/Client of shipment readiness and provide all necessary documentation through established online tools or email.
  • Ensure shipments are properly labeled and accompanied by all necessary shipping documents.
  • Perform relevant Warehouse/Material Management transactions in SAP (WM/IM/MM/MIGO) or equivalent systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory stock according to ERP/SAP systems.
  • Stay updated on internal procedures and actively improve work processes.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the Team Lead or Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP/ERP systems in a warehouse setting.
  • If no apprenticeship certification, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse/material management or freight forwarding/transportation coordination.
  • Basic knowledge of Delivery Terms (Incoterms).
  • Certification in Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) for handling/packing shipments.
  • Forklift certification (T1, T2, T3 & T4).
  • Good communication skills, proactive, responsible, dependable, team player, self-motivated, and flexible.
  • Strong focus on accuracy in daily work.
  • Ability to work under sometimes hectic and stressful conditions.
  • Experience operating various equipment used in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP transactions and processes related to warehouse management.
  • Good English language skills.
