We are looking for a Travel Service Support Agent for our customer. Do you have experience with Amadeus? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Location: Stavanger
Duration: Estimated from May 6, 2024, to December 31, 2024
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, 0730 to 1530

Responsibilities:

  1. Travel Coordination: Coordinate and manage official travel arrangements for staff and contractors.
  2. Amadeus System Operation: Utilize the Amadeus travel industry commercial computerized system to provide flight schedules, flight and car reservations, availability checks, price comparisons, airline information, fare details, and revalidation terms.
  3. Review Travel Requests: Evaluate incoming travel requests from staff members, ensuring propriety, completeness, and accurate accounting details.
  4. Cost Estimation: Price estimated flight and other transport costs, determining the most economical travel options. Submit travel requests for approval based on established criteria.
  5. Ticket and Equipment Purchasing: Purchase flight tickets, rental cars, and special travel-related equipment within specified authorities after travel request approval.
  6. Assist with Travel-Related Tasks: Provide support for any travel-related work.


Experience and Competencies:

  • Amadeus: Training in the AMADEUS travel reservation system or similar GDS systems (e.g., SABRE/Galileo).
  • Commercial Travel Experience: Previous work involving commercial travel activities.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical and professional English for interactions with suppliers and staff.
  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrated proactive mindset and facilitation skills.
