Production Planner

Manpower is looking for a Production Planner to join our client's team in Kongsberg. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in production planning and a strong ability to coordinate workflows and optimize processes.

About the role
As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring that production schedules run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with manufacturing managers and the production team to provide visibility into product demand, identify potential risks, and take proactive steps to keep everything on track.
Your main tasks will include:

• Managing production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks in the production process.
• Coordinating with project and material planning teams to secure necessary resources.
• Monitoring and following up on production orders from start to completion.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations
• Ensuring production data is accurately recorded and reported.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a structured and proactive individual with:

• A degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Awareness of LEAN Manufacturing and processes
• Knowledge of production processes and planning tools.
• SAP / MRP Experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
