Behind every team solving a hard problem, there’s someone who makes the work possible.
Do you want to be that person, at a company working on something that genuinely matters?
On behalf of our client, we’re looking for an Office Administrator for a Norwegian technology company in an early growth phase. It’s a value-driven business with a clear mission that matters, built by a team of around twenty people in central Oslo. Right now they’re at the most exciting part of the journey: moving from a proven concept toward commercial scale. It’s fast, it’s ambitious, and it only works if the day-to-day runs like clockwork. That’s where you come in.
What you’ll actually be doing
As Office Administrator, you keep the office and the leadership team running, and you get a rare front-row seat to how a technology company is really built from the inside. You’ll work closely with the C-suite, reporting to the Chief Sourcing Officer and supporting the CEO directly. A typical week looks like:
- Keeping the office running: supplies, suppliers, visitors and deliveries, and a workplace people are glad to walk into
- Giving leadership their time back: owning calendars, meetings and travel, preparing presentations and expense reports, and handling confidential matters with discretion
- Being the dependable link to the Finance and Sourcing teams: coordinating tasks and following up with the people and partners who rely on you
Who you are
How you work matters as much as what’s on your CV. You’re the kind of person who spots what needs doing and just does it. You stay calm when five things land at once, you remember the details others forget, and people trust you on instinct, whether it’s a confidential file or their whole week’s schedule. You like people, and it shows.
You’ll fit right in if:
- You take ownership of the everyday and don’t need chasing
- You bring warmth and a real service mindset to colleagues and partners alike
- You’re at home in a young, fast-moving company where not everything is finished yet
- You’re fluent and confident in both Norwegian and English, as English is the working language
One thing the role does require from the start: you’ve worked directly with a C-suite or executive team before, in an administrative or executive-support capacity. Supporting senior leaders, their schedules, travel and confidential matters, is familiar ground, not something you’ll pick up on the job.
And these would be a bonus:
- Strong organisation and multitasking, with an eye for detail
- Confidence in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Some background in accounting or finance, with room to grow over time
- Experience from a startup, tech or fast-growing company
Plenty of roles keep an office running. Few let you do it for something this meaningful, and this close to the people leading it. You’ll be part of a small, value-driven team where professionalism, responsibility and teamwork are simply how things get done, and the work you do quietly every day helps build something that matters well beyond the office. You’ll learn fast, you’ll be trusted early, and you’ll see the impact of what you do.
Interested?
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Send your CV and a few words about yourself, we’re looking forward to reading them.
